Patterns In Nature Cabinet
The Patterns in Nature Collection was created in collaboration with storyteller Salim Azzam, inspired by how fauna finds its home within flora. Using Studio Nada Debs’ signature geometric patterns in walnut, oak, and olive wood, the collection introduces contour marquetry, where dyed woods form bird illustrations outlined in tin. Each piece reveals the poetic synergy of birds, botany, and wood grains, reflecting the many patterns found in nature.
The Patterns in Nature Cabinet depicts birds in flight across a French oak carapace veneer surface. The tin-outlined marquetry creates movement and delicacy, echoing the migration journeys of the birds. The geometric veneer provides both structure and texture, making this wall-hanging cabinet a piece that embodies the relationship between pattern and narrative.
This piece is made to order and can be customized in dimensions, finishes, and materials.
