Palma Stool

Palma is a sculptural collection of furniture and objects inspired by the quiet geometry of the palm tree. Each piece, whether a dining table, an occasional table, a stool, a lamp, or a planter, begins as a form in turned solid wood, shaped into soft, rounded silhouettes that feel both grounded and gentle. The bases are then intricately carved with rhythmic diamond motifs, echoing the layered texture of palm bark and the protective patterns found in nature. The tops of the tables are crafted in marble or terrazzo, creating a refined contrast with the tactile warmth of the carved wood. Palma continues Studio Nada Debs’ exploration of craft as an emotion, where materiality becomes a form of storytelling. The interplay of wood and stone, the subtle shadows cast by hand-carved facets, and the rounded, nurturing proportions bring a sense of organic serenity to living, dining, and garden spaces. The collection is both contemporary and timeless, an homage to nature’s patterns, and to the artisans whose hands translate those patterns into objects that live beautifully in the everyday.
