The Pebble Seats serve as a canvas for experimentation, where the different craft techniques developed by Studio Nada Debs can be applied to create distinct variations. The form of the seat resembles the shape of natural pebbles, while the wooden backrest provides a surface for exploration. This version is crafted in collaboration with Palestinian women artisans in refugee camps in Lebanon. Using their traditional tatreez embroidery techniques, they stitch colorful threads by hand onto a cane backrest, creating unique landscapes such as sunsets and horizons. Each piece varies in illustration, making every Cane Embroidery Pebble Seat one of a kind. This piece is made to order and can be customized in dimensions, finishes, and upholstery.
